Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE
Innovation in a time of crisis
Part of the ADC Forum briefing series on surviving the crisis and building the future amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Matt Faubel (Chair, ADC Forum Program Committee) interviews Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE, CEO & Founder of Neuro-Bio Ltd.
As COVID-19 has a huge and ongoing impact on physical and psychological health, we explore the capacity of how humans cope with such crises. We will also explore our capacity for innovation and leadership, from the medical research front and center of combating COVID-19 to the broader types of innovation and R&D required for humanity to meet the challenges it must face down in these unexpected times. Baroness Susan Greenfield, an eminent neuroscientist, will explore the impact of our shared trauma on the brain, how our capacity to function is affected, how we can succeed against the odds as humanity finds favour to do, and what will be the long-term impacts on us as individuals and as a society.
